About us

Cranfield Projects was established by a group of highly experienced renewable energy professionals with over 20 years’ experience spanning sales, engineering, opera ons, IT, finance, construction, project management and legal. In such a dynamic market with political pressures and limited budgets it’s important to take a highly flexible, tailored approach to delivering solutions. There is no ‘one size fits all’. Our philosophy is to do things not just differently, but properly. We do this by ensuring that a robust contractual structure exists in all of our projects to avoid issues down the track. We only take on work we know we can add value to, as well as only working with clients and subcontractors who share the ethics of professionalism and positivity that we do as a group.

What do we do?

We provide project based services to renewable energy project companies. If you need an individual or a team to help finance, develop, project manage, engineer, install, construct, commission, operate and maintain a solar PV system, solar farm or wind farm – for blue collar, white collar, administrative or executive- you call us.. It will be the only call you need to make.

How much do we charge?

Less than everyone else. Because we’re cheap? Because we’re desperate? Neither. Quite simply, we work on a very lean model meaning we don’t need big margins to pay big salaries with or expensive offices. Also, we know this isn’t mining, or oil and gas. Budgets are tight, we get it. In fact, if you find it cheaper, we’ll beat them by 5%. We just love building projects.

And why else?

We love helping the community. We support indigenous and equality in recruitment. Because we care, and to keep the image of renewables socially responsible the way it should be. Also, we’ll give a portion of our profits go to local community development projects.

How do we work?

However you want us to. We can do as little as send you someone that you hire on your books, or as much as managing the payroll administration and timesheets for the entire project workforce, from the Project Director in the office, to the HSE Manager in the site to the skilled and unskilled labourers getting sweaty in the field.

Why us?

We have probably the most extensive network of renewable energy professionals in Australia. If they don’t exist in Australia, we’ll bring them over from Europe or North America. If they live near the project, they will get priority. Locals first, support the community, love the project.

Wait, there’s more?

On our books is a highly experienced Project Manager who recently finished project managing the construc on of 450MW of solar farms across UK and Europe. He will be thrown in, for free, to make sure our guys are doing as they should.
